A
decision
to
simplify music selection
at the station was made a while back. The result of that
decision is what I call
the "GOOD"
or
"BAD" music policy! Let's face it, all music can be narrowed down to just
these two types if you really want to. Opinions vary
between ages and people obviously!
Here at Station X there is only ONE opinion that really matters ;-) If it's playing on the station it's considered - GOOD!!! If it's not playing on the station it's considered - BAD!!! Or maybe I just don't have a copy of it yet! Donations are welcome! The idea is simple really. Station X is moving towards an audience that is accepting of AM radio. The reason for this will be obvious when full power is running on our AM services. It is expected that Baby Boomers and Generation X will be the most likely audience. All jokes aside Station X runs as a hobby outfit these days and isn't out to change the radio landscape. It is a labor of love with restricted access to an audience via the frequencies available to it. For those that like GOOD music and aren't scared by AM radio you can expect to hear a selection of "good" tunes from the 50's to today and a variety of specialty shows. The music selection process is totally as seen by Me. If you agree with me keep listening - if you don't - do I really need to tell you?? Enjoy listening punters - just remember Station X is - Radio Because We Want To - NOT - Because We Have To |
